Rufus has moved on to a new home,to be with children, to be the doted upon goofy red boy, that he so richly deserves. The silence here is deafening without your silly laugh. Yes, he does laugh. I will miss you more than words can say my love. We will always love you and keep you in our prayers.

personality of this boy...the goofiest cat I have ever seen. He entered our home, beckoning even the meekest out to play. Engages the largest to holloween kitty hop through the house.( visualize 24 pounds of cat arching his back! and hopping sideways!) A healer of sorts. Purring is his specialty. 20-50 Hz required for healing of bones.

Rufus attended the CFA show April 30th, for only one of the two days of show. Rufus was judged by 4 judges that day. 3 of 4 made Rufus Best Maine Coon Champion. Rufus also made 2 finals. He was awarded 2nd Best Longhair Champion, Best Longhair Champion, and Best Champion of all breeds. isn't that a nice way to end the show weekend!

Rufus drooled so much while in "hunt" mode during his photo shoot, that I was given a tissue to remove the overspill from my face as he whirled about.
