We are so very pleased that you take the time to visit our cats when deciding to choose a lifetime companion.

There are just a few simple things to remember when you are invited into any home that is a  multi-cat environment. We strive to keep a happy balance within our home. Balanced multicat environments do not just happen, they are created by much love, time, patience, effort, and respect.

Cats in a multi-environment are much different than a single cat. The more cats in the environmment , the higher the propensity for stress.  Intact cats are driven by an entirely different set of principles than neuters and spays.

Feline  husbandry is a science.

  • Visiting no more than one cattery per day is recommended. This lessens disease transfer.
  • Be prepared to remove shoes and cleanse hands prior to touching cats.
  • All children should be supervised by parents at all times.
  • All children should have been taught prior to visiting, simple cat etiquette. Offer the cat the backside of your hand for his approval. Unlike dogs, cats prefer to come to you and rarely like head pats. Necks scratched perhaps.
  • Offer a shy cat your side rather than frontal position
  • all personalities are different
  • No running or chasing within the house.
  • Do not pick up a cat without permission and supervison
  • Never startle a sleeping cat
  • Your actions  today could set precedence for the rest of the cat's life. Cats long remember threatening encounters. Be respectful!

sound simple?....... perhaps as though one shouldn't have to be asked or told? You would be surprised!
